Hello,

All my posts suddenly moved to the left side of the screen on my desktop. I wasnt editing anything in my FTP at all. I turned off seal.js, js/jquery/jquery.js earlier and ticked ‘dont load Google fonts’. I think after that my posts were all outligned on the left. Is that possible?

I didnt knew what it was, so in the end i resored my last back up, so the pulgin was deleted, without restoring the default Autoptimizer settings.

What did i do wrong? And how can i solve it? My URL is: http://www.stijnspreekt.nl.

Hello there,

Ticking the “remove google fonts” box gives my Rapidology plugin(widget) a different font on both, desktop and mobile. Is there any way to fix this? Because my Google website speed went up and i wanna keep this.

Hi there

This plugin seems fantastic, and works flawlessly to minify and concatenate multiple files and serve them from the /blogs.dir/ cache. However, despite the reduced number of requests and reduced data to transfer, my pages are taking consistently LONGER to load while using this plugin. I was just hoping you might be able to help me understand what might cause this.

I *have* read the FAQ and see that you recommend using a full page caching plugin alongside yours, which I am *not* currently doing, and I totally understand that without that, I might not see a performance improvement.

Before Autoptimize:
Requests: 36
Transferred (kb): 404
Average Load time (ms over 10 trials): 626

After Autoptimize:
Requests: 24
Transferred (kb): 326
Average Load time (ms over 10 trials): 718

Again, just curious if you could help me understand what might cause this. It’s 1/3 fewer requests, about 1/4 less data to transfer, but a 15% increase in page load time.

Is there a way with this plugin to just combine JS files, but not minify them? It seems that whenever we minify JS our site malfunctions.

We got this error in FB sharing button and the button does not work.

Goodmorning,

Since i installed Autoptimize my Javascript is very slow loading on the first load after emptying all my caches. I know it has to be a little slow, because its the first time loading a page, but 13 seconds is too long i think. Is there a way to make it load a little faster on the first load?

Hi, after installing the Autoptimize plugin we get CSS code appearing at the top of our web site even with none of the settings options selected. The code is some Contact Form 7 code from the theme Custom CSS area and body color and header background from the theme color settings.

We are using the Valenti theme, latest version – http://valenti.cubellthemes.com/ http://docs.cubellthemes.com/valenti/

Not sure what to try next…

Autoptimize is successfully handling all CSS with CSS Options set to optimize and aggregate; however, Autoptimize’s own CSS file is blocking rendering of the site: https://[domain name]/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_b611339b1f435a9a4c5a52c45831e845.css

Why is this file not addressed with the optimize and aggregate selected?

why u’ve excluded some css (admin and …?)
i’ve removed, don’t remember why, and now i can’t remember their name (sorry) xD

anyway, all seems to work as expected!
so, is best to remove permanently this css file?
if yes, can u remember me their name? 🙂

Hi,

I’m currently trying to increase page load times on a site of mine at https://abyssrecordings.com.

As part of this performance optimisation I have improved cache performance and connected my site to load via CDN, however I wanted to go a little further with ‘Autoptimize’.

Since activating the plugin my webpages now load like this:

Which they never did before, please can you clarify how I can fix this issue so that my pages don’t load the raw html without styling?

hello, i am using the plugin on two wordpress sites with the same content, only difference is language, on one site the plugin works perfectly, every test i do with pingdom gives good results, on the other page it gives me errors, the plugin doesnt seem to work, only if i deactivate, activate again and delete cache it gives a bit better results, but not as good as the other page. what could be the reason for that?

Hello,

The cache size grows to 2-3GB within a day or 2 sometimes and i have already disabled inline caching but it does not help anything. Everything remains the same.

Hello,

I’ve installed plugin on a test version of my website but I can’t get it to work. CSS works well but when I turn JS autoptimizing on it just creates a blank page. Well not initially, while it loads I can see all resources being loaded and the page rendering but then right before it finishes loading page turns blank.

The weird part is – when I examine the website in my browser all html is there! And most of the css is there. It’s just invisible!

This is a beautiful plugin. Very well crafted.

But video embedded with the WP video short code does not scale down for mobile.

When I disable autoptimize the video does scale down.

I just installed Autoptimize. When I go to the Settings pags and click Optimize HTML Code, Optimize Javascript Code and Optimized CSS code the checkmarks do not stay checked when the page reloads. And, the cache folders are empty. I am hosting on GoDaddy Managed WordPress.

Am I missing something?

Howdy!

After the update to the newest WP and Autoptimize version, the menu bar on the blog page of my WordPress installation get’s invisible in Safari Browser – if I turn on CSS Minifiy…?

It’s just on this one page – on all other pages and blog post are fine. Also if I scroll down and up again, the menu bar is visible again.

Any idea how to solve it…?

Hi Frank, great work done. Your plugin reduced my website load time. But there is one issues. i cannot optimize plugin and manipulate inline or defer CSS etc, because I only get basic options to optimize javascript and css. What to do?

Also, if you can tell me where can I put a code in my site’s html? I am using Divi theme and I am a noob. I don’t know where to go to place a code.
