You're using old "qtranslate" insted of "qtranslate x" plugin (found class in code of your test website <ul class="qtrans_language_chooser" ) Please, try with "qTranslate X".

I've found a solution that seems to work. Looks like it doesn't handle uppercase. After changing language labels to small (plus "text-transform:uppercase;" in css) fixed the issue. You can close topic.

heartbeat should not matter. gzip-stuff in .htaccess neither, as that typically only is done (by Apache) after PHP finished (so AO would not be bothered with that) ...
