sliders typically rely on jquery, so try either excluding jquery.js (or jquery.min.js or jquery-min.js if your theme so wishes) and/ or tick the "force JS into head" option. frank

hmm ... weird, as AO does nothing special that could result in wordpress having such erratic behavior. I would try to reinstall (leaving all optimization options off, in order not to impact your site)...
