Is it possible when we delete cache the new files get rename?
I am having trouble with CDN cache on their network. I cannot purge it. So I think it’s will be great if Autoptimize rename files after delete cache. Is that possible?

Hi Frank,
thanks for providing such a great plugin!
How do I minify the JS code which is placed inline in my HTML code?
Think about JSON schema code and analytics snippets?
Sure I can minify them right in the PHP file, but I’m sure there is a better way.
Thanks again

The frontend-builder-global-functions.js file isn’t being minified and the settings seem that it would be. Here are my settings: https://royalrestrooms.com/autoptimize-options.jpg
Do you know how I can make sure all js and css files are minified?
Thanks

Below, as you can see, there was a bug due to which the performance is low. What can I do to remove this error? or correct?

When I disable Autooptimize the text editor works.

I had the same problem with the Visual Editor but I managed to fix it by adding wp-includes/js/tinymce to the exclude list.

Hi
Thanks a lot for a fantastic plugin. It made my site a whole lot faster 🙂
I do have one issue though, and that is, that my menu bottom border disappears when activating Autoptimize.
This is site with Autoptimize activated: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vowzna3olg0tmbw/Sk%C3%A6rmbillede%202018-09-17%20kl.%2017.44.51.png?dl=0
This is site without: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lpx0189bt54ousx/Sk%C3%A6rmbillede%202018-09-17%20kl.%2016.53.46.png?dl=0
I tried adding ubermenu.css and ubermenu.min.css to “Exclude CSS from Autoptimize:” but it did not help.
Hopefully someone knows how to fix this.
Thanks.

Hi,
I’m running AutOptimize 2.3.4 width WordPress 4.9.8 and I’ve got an htaccess file activating gzip compression (gzip and caching code from her https://andreashecht-blog.de/4183/ ).
But when I run a GT Metrix test I receive the big error
‘Compressing /cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_448deccaad3844a7442fa6914e65c42a.js could save 294.0KiB (70% reduction)’, which takes my whole page speed score down to 77%. All other scores except for the minify javascript option that referes to the same file are 99-100%.
I’ve been searching for the option you explained in your faq (´autoptimize_filter_cache_create_static_gzip’), but I do not know where and how to apply it. Also the Plugin AutOptimize GZip Master (from Github) doesn’t change anything
Can you help?
Not checking ‘save as static files’ brings me to 100% at GTMetrix, but lets me loose several website functions including the navigation bar.. If I then exlude the themes app.min.js file from compressions and I force javascript loading into the header, the website works again, but the Page Speed Scroe moves down to 81 %, including a longer loading period than before..
Best regards
Jen

Hi there,
I’m using Autoptimize with a great success and better google ranking.
My site is build with Themeco X theme and for editing pages I’m using Cornerstone plugin.
With Autoptimize and Optimise JavaScript Code enabled the plugin won’t load anymore.
I know I can exclude certain plugins from optimization, but I wouldn’t know how to type in the path to the plugin.
I think it is located in wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/assets/dist-app/js/
eg.
cs-vendor.js
cs.js
but typing in this path is not helping.
I’m not even sure which plugin is being blocked.
Could you help me resolve this issue, please?

How to include (insert) the autoptimize css after meta tags of the Yoast SEO Plugin in head area of a website?

Hello there,
I’ve ran autoptimize on my website and the HTML & CSS compression are working fine but I have some issues getting the JS optimization to work.
Here’s a link to a staging website copy of my website with the errors running (I can’t let it run on the live site).
https://bedata-majomessi.savviihq.com/
I see the following errors in the console (beware: these errors are not in the console when JS portion of the plugin is not running):

https://i.gyazo.com/f8ad453d7a417a33fa03e4482681cfa0.png
Any idea how I can solve this?
It seems like some theme specific functions & jQuery functions are breaking.

Hi,
I went from using the Karma WordPress theme to a much cleaner Enfold (by Kriesi) theme. My site is live and works fine so far. Trouble is, my homepage slider vanishes when I activate Autoptimize.
It took quite some time for me to get the previous settings dialed in, likely due to the old theme being fairly poorly written. I think this should be far easier, but I cannot find the problem (other than it’s def Autoptimize as the slider comes back with I deactivate). I had this code in the Java Script Options>Exclude scripts from Autoptimize:
s_sid,smowtion_size,sc_project,WAU_,wau_add,comment-form-quicktags,edToolbar,ch_client,seal.js
Other than that, I am going bonkers trying to figure out what to check and what not to check. I did not have Inline & Defer selected in CSS for the last theme, but I might be able to use it now.
Other relevant information is that my new theme has some Performance settings that include these (these are all on):
**CSS file merging and compression
**Javascript file merging and compression
**Disable Template Builder Elements (The theme allows you to disable template builder elements that you do not need. This reduces the amount of Javascript and CSS loaded in your frontend)
In case this helps, scans from GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights and Seoptimizer.com:
https://gtmetrix.com/reports/gatehealing.com/kfV621cb
https://www.seoptimer.com/gatehealing.com (Performance Results, then click Show Me More to see Inline Styles errors)

Does the ” Also aggregate inline CSS? ” 100% works?
Because it seems like it is not aggregate the inline CSS from the WordPress Custom CSS.
Try to search for “wp-custom-css” in page source.

Hi,
Recently Autoptimze started breaking some functionality of my website, although I didn’t make any changes.
I get this error in console:

any idea why and how to fix it?
Update: I’ve disabled autoptimze and cleared cache and everything started working fine again.

<script type='text/javascript' src='https://www.idxhome.com/eureka/main.bundle.js?1537380007387'></script>
I tried adding this to the Extra > Async settings:

But they still don’t have the async flag. Did I add them to the settings correctly? I would like anything coming from http://www.idxhome.com/eureka/ to have async.

Although I selected “Remove Google Fonts” within the Autoptimize plugin, I see that the site is still loading Google Fonts.
