Hello,
read through latest threads, but didn’t find a solution to my question.
Currently I’m facing full width issues on the given domain. While debugging I realized, that Autoptimize seems to be the cause. And here is my issue:
When disabling the plugin my page is displayed just fine.
When enabling the plugin the page isn’t full width anymore, even without any options being checked (no HTML-, no JavaScript- and no CSS-options are activated).
Console returns two errors:

This makes sense, because I didn’t check any of these.
Now I am wondering how Autoptimize is affecting the display of my side and how I am able to avoid that.
Just to make sure:
No caching plugin activated
Async Javascript disabled

Problems on shortcodes-ultimate and Store locator plugins

Hi,
I am using WP store locator plugin to list some locations and shortcodes-ultimate plugin to add a image carousel on the location page. I get following errors:
For the carousel:

Potential problem with Antispam plugin

Hello. I would like to ask something that came up. After installing the plugin “Antis-Spam” by VleanTalk, i saw that my cache was growing very fast. That was not happening before.I also exclude from css the folder : wp-content/cache.
Any thoughts why that happens?

AO not combining scripts and stylesheets. www in cache file path?

AO doesn’t seem to be combining scripts and stylesheets. A gtmetrix test shows 14 external scripts and 16 external stylesheets even though I have selected the option to aggregate them. I have also removed wp-content/cache/ from the excluded CSS.
I see that my AO cache folder is /www/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/. Is that right? Should the www be there?
Another plugin’s script was throwing a 404 because of an incorrect file path of domain.com/www/wp-content/plugins/ so my hosting support added a rewrite in the NGINX server config to correct this.
Could that rewrite be messing with AO’s ability to combine scripts and stylesheets?
Any other ideas why I am unable to combine scripts and styles?

Error when searching with non latin characters

I use buddypress with Bubbypress Golbal Search as search tool.
When I search with latin characters no problem. When Ι search with greek characters, AO shows an error message at the end of the search page, this one:

Request: Logged in Roles

Hey Frank,
I have a request perhaps you could add in during a later update. Would it be possible to specify roles for the Also optimize for logged in users? section in Misc?
Use Case:
I use Elementor and need to disable Autoptimize when changing stuff in the page builder, but I also have users that login for WooCommerce (subscriber role). I’d like it if we had the option to only disable Autoptimize for Administrators and leave it on for other roles (customer, subscribers, etc).

in my chase the exclude js file function not working correct.
Exclude Scripts from Autoptimize: plugins/plugin-name/assets
Also i tried plugins/plugin-name
and i tried also plugins/plugin-name/assets/js
Everytime in the Google Chrome Console:
`http://foo.bar/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/lang/myscript.de.js?v=323 net::ERR_ABORTED 404 (Not Found)
Script location is plugins/plugin-name/assets/js/lang/myscript.de.js
What i am doing wrong?

Autoptimize Cache problems – always full

Hi there,
My client’s website has been crashing regularly 2x a day due to full cache. Sometimes we are able to access some pages but without the proper template. This all happened after converting their website from HTTP to HTTPS version.
I wonder what can prevent the website from crashing and the cache from filling up so quickly.
Also, is there a way to access Autoptimize errors log?

Can’t Activate Aggregate JS-files? or else my images…

Hi guys,
I’ve always had a great experience with Autoptimize, and I also use the ExtraCSS option. But since a couple days ago, the images from my Woocommerce products look empty on all browsers.
I found that deactivating Aggregate JS-files? made the images show again. I wonder what the problem is? I didn’t add any new plugins. The theme I use is Divi.
Any clues?

“Search” lens not showed in mobile version of the webiste

I really appreciate your plugin, but I have a problem on my website http://www.torinogioielli.com: on mobile (only on mobile, not in desktop version) when you click on “search” lens, nothing happens.
What exclusion rule have I to put? and where? I guess, in JS section of the plugin.

Genesis mobile menu not working

Starting a new topic as suggested.
My mobile menu it’s nor working even though I added js/jquery/jquery.js among the exceptions.
I tried all the things suggested here:
* in AO disabling JS optimization (with CSS active), does it work then?
* in AO disabling CSS optimization (with JS active), does it work then?
* disable SuperPWA while keeping AO JS & CSS active, does it work then?
Still not working.
I’m using also Cache Enabler. Strange thing is even if I disable AO and the Caching plugin, the menu it’s still not working. I’ve also tried to flush the cache from CLoudflare with all the plugins disabled, menu still nor working.

Autoptimize makes images dissapear and conflicts with certain scripts

Hi,
Recently we started using Autoptimize to improve our page speed but we notice that at random occasions images start missing, for example on the homepage https://www.izaa.nl and scripts stop working, most importantly on this page where checking the upper, bold, checkbox is supposed to check ALL the checkboxes and scroll down the form. The scrolling is still working, but the check-all script isn’t.
The mobile responsive menu in the theme also stopped working (worked around that by building a new UberMenu fueled menu).
Tried a lot of solutions last week, including deactivating W3cache (didn’t help a bit). Any idea’s what to do now?

On Deactivation all javascript breaks

Hey, i was trying your plugin with critical css initially. Everything seemed to work correctly except font-awesome was looking for its local files in /build_main/. There is no file /build_main/ on the server. Now when I disable the plugin i get the error
“Refused to apply style from ‘<URL>’ because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.” and it default looks for all my js in /build_main/. I can’t figure out what is causing the issue.
