Hi! Since I have installed Autoptimize my loading time has improves magically!
I still have one problem though, a specific file is jamming up my loading time on all pages, I have added a screenshot.

How can I solve this Issue?

I tested my website on GTMetrix, Google insights, pindom tool.
And I have found Autoptimize js loading delay error.

So, when I use autoptimize, whenever I try to edit any page, the style of the footer that appears is one of the old footers of my website(a black footer).
However, when I de-activate autoptimize, this issue doesn’t occur. I tried un-checking Optimize CSS, JS, HTML but it still didn’t work (the only solution to the problem was to de-activate autoptimize)
I also tried un-checking the “Also optimize for logged in editors/ administrators?” checkbox but it didn’t solve it.

I’ve installed the critical CSS plugin and it says I need to enter an API. Can I confirm if the critical CSS option is paid only? Or does it have any stripped down functionality if not paying? Thanks for clarifying for me 🙂

Hi Frank,
I’ve run an audit on my site https://reclaimdesign.org in SEMRush this afternoon and it’s flagging 2 errors which I can’t work out:

If I click the links to open up the contact page, it opens fine. Same if I click the links to open the .css and the .js files. They seem to open fine too. I have cleared the Autoptimize cache thinking that might work, but it hasn’t made any difference to the error if I re-run the audit.
I wondered if you could please advise me on how best to proceed with fixing the issues? I don’t really know where to go from here. I appreciate your time, help and patience! Thank you 🙂

I ran updates on my WordPress plugins and it all went great. However, in Chrome, and only in Chrome the homepage (and only the homepage) displays this error:
(index):858 GET https://www.cycloneblasters.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_f8d73c972cecd37279b0a34053a4786b.js net::ERR_ABORTED 404
I can see it in the developers tools. If I load other pages, no problem. If I use Safari, no problems.

firstly I appreciate your great team and your tremendous plugin
in the last update of autoptimize I realized that Oxygen tabs and all shortcodes (like Digits modal) stucks and won’t work. before the update, they worked fine. I deactivate every plugin and find Oxygen have problem with autoptimize
I want to use this amazing plugin.
Please help me or give me an advice

Together with Async JavaScript, my Site has achieved impressive GTMetrix Scores ( screenshot below).
Any Tips/Comments on improving GTmetrix > YSlow > Make fewer HTTP requests D(60) ?
However, Google Pagespeed Insights is showing a completely different picture – a low score of 33 !!

Hello, after enabling Autoptimize my Icons are broken site wide. After disabling CSS, they return. I have tried excluding many sources but cannot find the correct one

Autoptimize recently seems to cause my Sliders in Elementor Sydney Theme on my Front Page to break, so I’ve switched off Lazy Loading. This seems to have rectified it and sliders work ok with lazy loading off.
But I also cannot edit my Elementor Pro popups when Autoptimize is activated.
I also run SG Optimizer.
These problems appear to be recent as my website was working ok until a few weeks ago.
I have no training in web design. I’ve had the guys at Elementor look at it and they feel there is an issue with Autoptimize.

The linked tag archive page gives the white screen of death when autoptimize is enabled.
I can remove the first 4 articles on the archive page, and it will render fine.
The other tag archive pages and category archive pages are working fine.
Do you know what could be causing this problem?

I Hope you are doing well.
I have some info about the lazy load function with wordpress gutenberg.
I have noticed a problem with the lazy load feature.
Lazy load breaks the gallery function. (wp-blocks).
This I noticed in firefox incognito mode.
I have tried to exclude several ID, Class without luck.
Example wp-gallery-grid, data-thump. I also have tried to disable css and js minification.
I have now deactivate this feature (lazy load) and activated my old plugin a3 lazy load.
I think there is a bug in the lazy load function.

I dont have Auto Optimize active at the moment but I have a question. When I turn it on, my site loads very fast but then after 30 to 60 minutes it loads much slower and when i check the waterfall on GT Metrix it shows the Auto Optimize file taking a couple seconds to load alone. Is there a way to fix this? I love the plugin if it stays same but how it’s working after an hour or so is negatively impacting my site. Thank you in advance for any help!!

When I visit certain areas of my website, I receive a message that a harmful software download is blocked Bitdfender.
It looks like it is within Autoptmize. I turned off the plugin and the message is gone.
