I had to not use the CDN support since it seems the plugin did not rewrite the static assets to the CDN. had to revert back to wp cdn rewrite. Will there be compatibility with Stackpath?

I had installed pop up anything on click plugin so users could click on a link and a pop up box would appear with a gallery of jpg images. I installed autoptimize afterwards and the popup anything does not work, the pop up box does not appear at all when link is clicked. Is there some setting which can be altered in your plugin or is it more a compatibility issue? Site is bespokefolk.co.uk and the links are under heading ‘New ‘FOIL’ greeting card listing for each stockist : June 2018’

Hi Autoptimize Team,
I am using your plugin for 2 sites, very nice and good jobs… However I realise the cache size is going to increase for every page visit by visitor, by right which I don’t mind because I am using unlimited storage hosting, but I saw there’s a cap/limit being showed that I am using 10% cache now = 49MB… Ummmm, one of my site is using for the property marketplace and still under develop, seek for your advise how can I enhance the setting to increase the cache size or there’s a limit to handle for the free version? 🙂

Hi Frank, when I click on the menu and go to another page, you will see in a blink of an eye (on the left side) the menu, before it loads the page. It is not even a second but I did not had this white the my old theme and want to know if I can fix this. Hope this is clear for you. The developer of the theme wrote me this: are you using an Optimizer plugin? If yes, from what I have seen, the autooptimize.css is taking a little bit to be loaded. What can I do?

There is a bug in the “Optimize JavaScript” function of Autoptimize that is removing the header and stripping the closing </head> and opening <body> tags from select pages. This can be seen on https://www.collaborativedivorceneworleans.com/faqs/, where the header that is usually visible on this site is not seen on this page, and when you go into the View Source, the closing </head> and opening <body> tags cannot be found. I initially noticed this bug in the stable version of Autoptimize, 2.3.4, so I upgraded this site to the latest beta, 2.4 Beta 3, to see if it had been fixed there, however, it is present there as well. In addition to this post, I have filed this bug as an issue on GitHub at https://github.com/futtta/autoptimize/issues/166.

I have changed the location of cache folder according to the instructions posted in FAQ. The plugin writes the files to that location once, but then it writes back to Cache folder and grabs the files from Cache/Autoptimize folder.
I tried even deactivating, deleting, reinstalling the plugin. But even then it doesn’t make the change permanent.
Any suggestions, help?

Whenever I check my site in Google PageSpeed Insights, I am asked to leverage browser cache for autoptimized css and js files.
I searched the forum and different net sources, but couldn’t find a solution except deleting the WP SUPER CACHE plugin or using the PHP cache instead of the mod_rewrite method in WP super cache.
If I disable Autoptimize plugin, I don’t get such error and when I disable WP super cache, even then I don’t get the error. It means if they work separately, they work fine. But when they are activated at the same time and expert mode in the super cache, the problem arises.
I am starting this thread just to know is there any recent advancement in this aspect?? How could I use both the plugins?? I don’t want to switch over to any other cache plugin.
Please help.

The defer flag on the autoptimized js file is being stripped out by the async javascript plugin.
Also the Async JavaScript plugin does not recognize the Autoptimize beta as being installed or activated when you view the status report in the dashboard.

So I’m trying to make my blog GDPR compliant.
One of the things is allowing visitors to select what cookies are allowed in their privacy preferences.
Different scripts create different cookies so my idea is to just not load a specific script creating certain cookies if the user selects it in their privacy preferences.
Is there any way to trigger different concatenated script versions to be served based on some kind of cookie?

Hello, I have started using AutoOptimize and Async JavaScript at a local chess community website. Thank you for a fantastic plugin. We also use RPB Chessboard plugin (not used on blog posts yet but it looks like it has some scripts injected on page source) and we have following error logged in Google Chrome browser Console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'i18n' of undefined
I thought this is a localization related issue but disabling AutoOptimize plugin resolves the issue. So there might be a conflict.

Hi Frank,
I use a CRM plugin (Zero BS) and its recently updated but appears to be conflicting with AO. Ordinarily, I would just blame the new version of the plugin but I am really confused with this.
What happens is that the page fails to load correctly in the backend. If I clear AO cache, the page immediately loads but if I reload the page, it fails to load again. I’ve never seen this before. I have cleared all browser cache, etc and then went through plugins one by one until I found the problem with AO. Disabling AO results in a normal operation but as soon as I re-enable it, I am back to the same problem.
Any ideas on where to go from here? Pointers for me or the ZBS dev? Just confused and looking for some help. Thanks in advance.

To create a Google Analytics Content Experiment (A/B split test) a code snippet must be added to the header of your website. However, Autoptimize removes this code no matter how it’s added.
I tried adding to the header.php file directly, adding to header.php through functions.php (child theme), using the “insert header and footer” plugin, and using a plugin designed specifically for adding Content Experiment code. Only once Autoptimize was disabled did the snippet show up – when it was enabled the code was effectively erased. My Google Analytics tag works fine.
I’d like to continue using this plugin if possible, so could you please advise what can be done about this issue? Thanks.
