Don’t include google analytics

Hi guys,

Is it possible to check the “Also aggregate inline JS?” without including the google analytics code and some tracking events? Coz I’m having trouble on optimizing my page. Please see attached URL ( http://mockupr.com/mu/uzvl9825/page-optimization ).

The real deal is Page Speed still “UNAVAILABLE”. Maybe if we exclude the analytics in the js it will lessen the file size of generated js by autoptimize or not?

I hope someone can help me 😀

Note:

  • I checked “Also aggregate inline JS?” because of deferring the jquery.js and other js files and also the aggregate one.
  • Revolution slider and Lazy load is active

Not working on custom page templates

Hello,

Autoptimize doesn’t work on custom page templates since 2.4.0. The problem isn’t solved after updateing to 2.4.1.

When I rollback to 2.3.4 the pages are compressed again.
Autoptimize seems to ignore all custom page templates.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?

Autoptimize Warning

Hello, thank you very much for your great plugin.

I use Autoptimize in three sites (with CloudFlare free version), but in Google console appears a warning (uncaught syntax error) for Autoptimize cache file.

I am new in wordpress, so please can you tell me what does this mean and how do I fix this problem?

I tried enable-disable Rocket Loader in Cloudflare, but the warning remains.

I use Siteground Hosting and their plugin (SG Optimizer).

Exclude Scripts is not working any more.

Recently I have updated to 2.4.1 from 2.3.4 and now my previously excluded java scripts are not getting exclude anymore. I have rolled back to 2.3.4 and it started to work again

Autoptimize initiating non wanted youtube iframe API

So, when I analize translate.video on gtmatrix or sitechecker it says:
Enable compression
Compressing resources with gzip or deflate can reduce the number of bytes sent over the network.

Enable compression for the following resources to reduce their transfer size by 366B (43% reduction).
Compressing https://www.youtube.com/iframe_api could save 366B (43% reduction).

When checking with DevTools I’ve noticed that the autoptimize plugin is initiator of youtube iframe_api, the thing is that we don’t have any youtube video on our website, how can we get rid of the youtube API?

Plugin crashed all website’s pics

Hi there,

I realized I was not able to see any pic on my website. I uninstalled the plugin and pics “came back”. I removed the plugin and installed it again but issue persist. Without Autoptimize plugin all works fine. Any idea?

Constant “Your Autoptimize cache might not have been purged successfully, please

Hi there,

I have been constantly receiving this error recently. I used Autoptimize in same setting as this one before, and never had this problem. Thing is, it doesn’t indicate what might be wrong, but cache seems to be deleted after trying multiple times.

What might cause this problem?

need replacetag filter for Inline and Defer CSS

When I Inline and Defer CSS, the following script is injected before the </body> tag. I want to choose where it gets injected (so I have control similar to what I obtain using the autoptimize_filter_js_replacetag).

I’ve noticed though, I’m seeing comments still in the optimized version of JS and CSS files? Is there a reason these are retained?

Some of my images doesn’t load (randomly)

Hello,

For a certain time, many of my website images (woocommerce shop product images), images from home page, etc etc, don’t load at all.

I need to refresh the webpage to see the image loaded but sometimes, others are not loaded !!!

It is really annoying.

I desactivated your plugin and all work correctly.

Could you please correct that bug it it is confirmed and explain me how to resolve it a this time?

JS Exclude Not Working

My website freezes if you try to run a page that uses the SyntaxHighlighter Evolved plugin. Disabling that plugin or js-minification Autoptimize fixes the issue.

I tried disabling minification of that plugin using:
seal.js,js/jquery/jquery.js,wp-content/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/

However, I still get the freezing issue. I’ve disabled js-minification for now.

Is there something else I should be doing?

curl timeout error

Hello,

I get the following error, frequently, but not on every page.

Method: GET
URL: myurl/?ao_speedup_cachebuster=14992 (this number seems to change)
Status: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
Caller: autoptimizeCache::clearall()
Plugin: autoptimize
Timeout: 5
Time: 5.0051

The error shows in the httpAPI calls, as displayed in Query Monitor.

I also have WPRocket on site; using AO in conjunction with WPR, with AO for JS minify/concat as it seems to work better in testing.

WP 4.9.8, Avada 5.7, AO 2.4.1

WP memory 768M, max execution time=300, php 7.1.23, curl version 7.59.0 open ssl/1.0.2k

Does it have something to do with the max execution time? And if so should I increase that?

Or since it is not happening on every page load, and doesn’t seem to affect front end should I not bother with it?

Or? Guidance appreciated.

CSS by Algolia plugin not combined/aggregated

I still got two separate CSS with “Aggregate CSS-files?” option on:

– autoptimize_8b28e4adb3fec72a326694fffe983211.css
– autoptimize_9c2eed08b0ab8b5c5473d9f5c71230a1.css

It supposed to generate just one CSS file. But the first one contains all the CSS spread across the page, but the second contains only styles by the following plugin:

Hi frank,

May I ask you again why autoptimize is included BEFORE RENDERING the page. Would you please give me some insights on why it happened? Is it because the script of RevSlider is included on the autoptimize js. “Also aggregate inline JS?” is on.

I’m targeting to show the PAGE SPEED score because currently, it’s “UNAVAILABLE” in Page Speed Insight.

autoptimize and wp fastest cache

Hello, i am using Autoptimize for a while and a few days ago i installed WP Fastest Cache.Since then, the autoptimize cache size must be deleted once 1-2 days because it’s full.I disabled WP Fastest Cache minify functions.Before WP Fastest Cache i was using another cache plugin and i didn’t had this problem.

Redirection loop with 2.4.1

Hi,
I’m getting weird redirection loop with the newest Autoptimize (2.4.1) while using “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin – never had this problem before. I wanted to access the wp-admin page and the browser was constantly reloading the page. I am on clean WP install – didn’t even uploaded any custom themes yet. Here are steps that led me to this problem:
– installed WordPress 4.9.8 (left the default theme)
– set up multisite (subdirectories if it matters)
– installed “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” plugin
– set the plugin up and added one site
– set domain mapping to the new site
– installed and network activated autoptimize (didn’t changed any setting so nothing is “on”)
– tried to go to the new sites wp-admin
– got this “redirection loop” and can’t even turn off autoptimize due to the same problem
Once I changed autoptimize folder name trough FTP to turn it off everything went back to normal, turned it back on and the problem is back too. Changed to Autoptimize 2.3.2 (because I had it laying around) and everything seems to be working fine.

Some pages don’t load

I’ve been trying to find out why some of my pages won’t load; Chrome freezes (the current tab, that is), and after a while it displays the “Aw, snap” page, telling me that something is wrong with the page. This happened with 2.4.1, also with 2.4.0. AO 2.3.4 works fine.

Any ideas where to start? 🙁

Hi, The Shortpixel wordpress plugin has an option to notify cloudflare when an image is updated so that the cloudflare cache can be automatically updated without having the manually purse the entire cdn cache.

Would it be possible to include such a feature in Autoptimize? so that cloudflare or other cdns are automatically notified when a css/js file is updated?
