Possible conflict with Avada Theme Fusion Video Sizing

Frank,

I’ve been trying to work with theme fusion (Avada, Fusion Builder) to identify why, in mobile, when I use their video resize fields for their vimeo block, that the video escapes to the right of the border.

They seem to think it might be a minification issue.

I’ve gone ahead an made sure CloudFlare minification is off.

Can you check the home page, scroll to the vimdeo video in mobile, and you’ll see that the video escapes out to the right of the border.

Can you tell if that’s an issue with Autoptimize and Theme Fusion?

Hi
I use Siteground and cloudflare with https WP website.
I use SG Optimizer supercacher plugin for caching. This plugin had 3 caching level : static, dynamic, memcached.
The dynamic caching is not working if i use AO (static and memcach work).
Indeed because AO has its own cache system according to siteground staff.
If i disable AO, i get better speed results (gtmetrix, pingdom), however i get lower performance value (Yslow, Performance grade etc) and bigger size files.
So it is possible to use the fonction of AO (minify, aggregate, optimize etc) without caching these files? So that Supercacher can handle them.

Is this notice about CDN via ShortPixel LINK suppose to occur on every page load?
After closing it and reloading the page it shows again.

My hosting is FastComet.

Conflict with WP Super Cache?

After updating, the comments at the bottom of cached pages is not showing up (<!– Dynamic page generated in 0.450 seconds. –>) so I’m not entirely sure if Super Cache is working any longer.

Optimize HTML Code? is not checked and Cache Status Messages are enabled in Super Cache.

I read here that there were conflicts with Super Cache with the new version – have these been resolved?

How does Autoptimize handle SSI’s exactly?
If I choose to strip comments from HTML, does that also then strip the SSI’s and therefore potentially prevent them from working?

I’m Using Autoptimize From Past Few Months, Recently Got AO Update and checked Short Pixel CDN, But Now I Don’t Want Short Pixel CDN and i Unchecked that option then my site all images got blank (means none of the images displayed on my site). please solve the issue asap..

autoptimize cache file consuming lots of space

hi,

i saw the file created by autoptimize consumes lots of space from my hosting. I wonder if that’s necessary to work, if can delete de files or what use is there to keep them??

64 MB /public_html/wp-content/cache

(inside the cache file there’s nothing but the autoptimize file itself)

The heavier ones are .css and .js, (loads of them), also there are some .img

Hello I can’t get rid of the notice which says “Did you know Autoptimize includes on-the-fly image optimization and CDN via ShortPixel? Check out the Autoptimize Extra settings to activate this option.”

Even if I dismiss the notice, every time a new page is loaded the notice appears again.

How can I hide this notice completely?

Hello,

1) Firstly, I get always this notice :

” Did you know Autoptimize includes on-the-fly image optimization and CDN via ShortPixel? Check out the Autoptimize Extra settings to activate this option. ”

It disturbs me, how to delete it ? I read here in other topics that I must add a code in ” addfilter “. Ok but I am a beginner and I don’t know where to add it ? Should I go in my FTP and which files ?
Will the next update Autoptimize plugin fix this notice problem ? I can wait untill the next update.

2) Secondly, I can see an option ” Optimize images on the fly and serve them from a CDN. ” Should I quote it if I use already Jetpack and Woocommerce ? I think this is not necessary ?

Hi

Love Autoptimize but getting annoyed about having to close the “Did you know Autoptimize includes on-the-fly image optimization and CDN via ShortPixel?” message every single time I log in to the back end, particularly as I already have a CDN! Could you please set this to stop reappearing after closing.

Reproducable issue with The Events Calendar: Community Events

Hello,

There is a reproducable issue with The Community Events plugin, from The Events Calendar: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

This happens only in Internet Explorer 11, and only when the option “Aggregate all linked JS-files to have them loaded non-render blocking” is enabled.

With the option enabled, the javascript on the page is broken. This leads to 2 issues:

1) You cannot add multiple events. The button to do so will reload the page with the above option enabled.
2) You cannot upload images when creating the event

The errors in the IE11 javascript console are as follows:

1) tinymce is not defined
2) variable is not defined in strict-mode.

Both are referring to a autoptimize js file.

I have disabled the js aggregation option now. Is there anything we can do to make it work with the community events plugin?

After i excluded the jQuery i still get the error

Hello .So i optimized my site with your plugin guys and it did a very good job.I exluded scripts.js but still i get the error that jQuerry is not defined . To be more specific :

Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
at scripts.js?ver=5.0.4:513

.That’s the error i get , and also i exluded the jQuerry library and also added in the themes config.php the 2 filters.

Anyt hougths?

Hi,

I like your Autoptimize plugin so much. But I need your help before installation: I installed LEMP on Ubuntu 18.04. And installed WordPress multisite too.

1- Autoptimize plugin is working well with multisite (subdirectory)?
2- Should I do any configuration in order to make Autoptimize compatible with Nginx server?

502 error after adding js excludes

I added excludes to the “exclude scripts from Autoptimize” section and caused a 502 error on my site. I removed the excludes that I added and saved, but am still getting the 502 error. I even deactivated the plugin and reinstalled it, but when I try to turn on the “optimize javascript code”, I get the 502 error on the site, even though the excludes defaulted back to the general settings that come with the plugin.

Are the excludes I added still living on the site somewhere else that I need to delete them in order for the plugin to work the way it did before I tried added custom excludes?
