WP 5.5 Lazyload and AO Lazyload

I’m sort of late to the party and updating to WP 5.5.

I’m using AO’s Lazyload. For my own FYI, how does this work with the Lazyload built into WP 5.5. Will AO deactivate WP’s Lazyload? Run them at the same time? Should I deactivate WP’s lazyload to make things more smooth?

Thanks.

Autoptimize GT Metrix score

Great plugin, big difference in scores when using it in a very positive way, although there is always place for improvement. I already have a fair score on GT Metrix:

https://gtmetrix.com/reports/thevirtualstylist.net/d05crSF4

But I see some points where Autoptimize maybe can improve, but I have no idea how?

I see in waterfall timeline AO scores 453.2 and in Yslow it is not cookie free and minify css, minify javascript etc.

Maybe it can improve the speed even more?

Any suggestions?

CSS in Footer

Thank you for a great plugin.

I have request/support question to discuss here.
Our website has a critical inline CSS and non-critical CSS that is called in the footer of the website, but when I use Autoptimize it merges all the CSS files and loads it in the header above the Critical CSS.

This messes CSS rules order and results in Render Blocking CSS notices in PageSpeed.

I do know that ‘Inline and Defer CSS?’ setting places CSS file request in the head but defers it, BUT I would like to suggest adding an option to simply load combined CSS in the footer of the website [though it is incorrect in HTML5].

Can this be done?

Thank you.

I ran a Mobile Pagespeed score on my website MountainManJourneys.com. I am using Autoptimize. Some of the following are in Autoptimize files. It is having a major impact on my score (22). Is there any insight on dealing with this, such as from an Autoptimize point of view?

I am getting both a REMOVE UNUSED CSS and ELIMINATED RENDER BLOCKING RESOURCES on the following. If dead or otherwise, not really sure how to delete or “purify”

https://mountainmanjourneys.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_1a87d6fc3fed3714d59dcc5e1c4c7690.css

How to further optimize images?
Any other suggested Plugins to optimize further?
Any other good lazy loading plugin where we can exclude images easily which will compatible with AO and WP-Rocket combinations?

I am getting the following warning from jQuery Migrate Helper for Autoptimize on one site only.

jQuery.fn.attr(‘checked’) might use property instead of attribute

I can’t reproduce the warning on my test site with the same AO settings.

Do you have any idea where the warning could be coming from?

problem aggregating js-files

Hi,
Autoptimize functionality to aggregate JS-files reduces my load time dramatically, but it breaks the functionality of woocommerce products images.
Aggregating JS-Files will stop showing product images in my shop. I could narrow it down to the ACF Plugin. When disabling it all seems to work fine. So it seems to me that I have to add the ACF plugin to be excluded from aggregating. Unfortunately I do not really nknow how to do so. Can someone give me a hint please?

I was desperate to improve the speed of my website and saw the autooptimize plugin and followed a guide on how to set it up
It has removed all my images on the front page and taken away the black header leaving my website looking awful.
I have undone the settings that I made and even tried deactivating the plug in and still my site is left looking so bad!

Using the noAO link the search filter on the right hand side works perfectly. With AO on all the sliders are missing. I tried the installing of the js migrate helper but this did not make any difference.
In the console I get the following errors:

How do I enable this, within autoptimize, manually?

I recently unpublished a page (and created a redirect using the “quick redirects” plugin), and the cache resulted in the page continuing to be served at the URL. Is there a setting I’m missing, or does the cache actually need to be purged every time a page (or CPT) is unpublished or removed?
